All Hope Is Gone

allhope Four years have passed since the release of Vol 3: (The Subliminal Verses), the recording that the band found their sound splits wide open, adding acoustic guitars and a new range of attitudes to maintain its total weight and claustrophobic seem intact.

Des Moines, Iowa, the fourth album by the nine crazy, All Hope Is Gone, will be released on 26 August. Corey Taylor described "THE HOPE IS GONE" and a "dark mixing" between the two most recent álbumnes study Iowa and Vol 3 (The Subliminal Verses). Corey said "This album is going to break your face ... do not think the world will be ready for this album."

Album Title: All Hope Is Gone

Taylor, whose lyrics have traditionally been about his life, said this album of songs will be less about his life and more, "complaining about what is wrong in life," Crahan said that the album is different from the first three because it was "by a group of crazy kids 30 years. That does not mean we're slowing down or not as intense - we are nine musicians with different ideas and thoughts, our brains work differently, so we have different emotions, different feelings and concerns. This record is another diagnosis of our insanity. "Taylor argues the album," I think it's the best thing I've done.

Corey Taylor "wants to give up hope when you enter the realms of the new slipknot album" All Hope Is Gone "? Not really

When the singer says, "All hope is gone" (No hope) the concerns that not all is hopeless. The concerns that all hope is gone for those who think they have a good band. Slipknot's new album not only defies expectations, breaks them contemptuously. Those who think it will be a continuation of his latest album Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses, will be surprised. Those who expect a return of the brutal rancor of Iowa will be disappointed and fans who anticipated a colorful record as the last Stone Sour album will be disappointed. Who is happy? Hardly anyone, of those who have never liked slipknot for his art and his hard strange sense of originality in a genre filled with predictability and cliches.

All Hope Is Gone (No Hope) is musically revelatory, combining the melodies of Vol.3 with the savagery of Iowa, and adding new elements that have flourished with the growth as musicians, attention to detail and a slow approach to writing songs. The album is packed with conflict and juxtaposition. Corey screams instead of singing, yet the songs have strong melodies. The work of the guitar and drums are technical and complex, as music is not very challenging, and the lyrics are rich in pain and anger, and even with hope.

Our exclusive interview with Independence Day Corey Taylor was conducted in late June, at the same time Collin Richardson was mixing All Hope is Gone "(no hope) And while Corey was busy with meetings to finalize details of the album , finalizing dates for the Rockstar Mayhem Tour tour, which will be co-leading with Disturbed) and family obligations, he was deeply focused and friendly in conversation for 45 minutes, which was alternated with heartfelt confessions and peppered with levity. In addition to discuss the creation of the new album, he talked about tensions in the study are presented to create such explosive albums, lamenting the volatile political climate in America and saying it is not going to vote in 2008 elections emphasizing the rewards and responsibilities of being a father and touched by the personal difficulties which could escape during the making of the album "All Hope Is Gone" (No hope).

This is an interview with Shawn and Corey on the All Hope Is Gone in August 2009, (FUSE TV ON DEMAN).

All Hope Is Gone? A rather obscure title ...

Corey: I do not think that is as dark as the Subliminal Verses or something, is actually more positive than people think. When people say 'Hope' they speak of their desires they have, 'Esperanza'. When these desires are insane simply give up, you know.

For my 'Hope' has always been that it is more for, it's over, everyone who is there, if not for some people. For me to say All Hope Is Gone is basically saying 'If you go with this selfishness, the interest that you place there can give you Hope', can give a real hope, maybe we could all, you know, find something better and not think that pass, but that's my 'Hope'.

It is less about giving and is more about letting go, the dark things we try to place as the 'Hope'.

As was the recording process?, Different?

Corey: Well, we were more together this time, which was a different vibe, we force ourselves to play, put cable, just kidding.

We recorded in Iowa, which was great, I mean always work during the tours throughout our career, but this time the cloud could do it where we wanted to go, recording all day, you know, working all day, go home , sleeping in our beds, caring for our respective children.

I think, so ... for me and Clown, helped to engage more with the recording process. I can prove that no matter where you are, if the music is good, and you know, the talent is there, you can make a record number one, anyone, do not have to go to LA (Los Angeles), do not have to go to New York or Chicago or anything like that, passion is what matters, not the technology.

Everyone, have a say during recording?

Corey: We try to bring many ideas to the table, a couple of songs, this time we take what each one did.

Clown: It's about truly understanding the pieces of the hole, and really get things for yourself and understand that you bring to the table and getting involved as much as possible as this record, tap gones, saucers, in different ways begin that process of the last, hard but still different steps, and this album explore all those things.

The whole world opened up to understand that, "Hey! try first, if not be this out, "leaving it all closed doors in the process, you know, that gives us hope for the next album.

As was to work with Dave Fortman for the first time?

Corey: Dave gave us a real gift, letting us do what we do, I was one that happened a good time with Dave, you know, did the vocals and the whole thing, always laughing and giving each other ideas, but at the same time voice taking me many ideas from him to me, you know, really let them take the voices, and vocal tracks on this album, I wanted to give one hundred percent ... together.

It's much more, an incredible experience, to say vol. 3 where many things were on that album where I was not agree, but this time I wanted to make sure everything I did was exactly what I wanted.
I think I'm much more proud of this album than anything else.
