Biography 1992

Stages of the birth of Slipknot started from 1992 in Des Moines Iowa, in the basement gray house under the name Paul Painface (name that would put the band Colsefni Anders who later founded.)

There was not much to say about the band, because from what were at that time only four people and had songs that were slowly evolving them also always kept an open mind to the fusion of different styles.

Although the band did not appear at that time with the name and did not have Slipknot masks that covered their faces, the group had aggressive feelings that could be expected in some patients such as metal Colsefni Anders, Shawn Crahan, Paul Gray and Patrick Neuwirth. During this early period there were songs that were recorded and these include "Slipknot", "Gently", "Idiot", "Whats wrong" and "Wise Up" which were then recorded, these would be known later as "The Basement Sessions .

Unfortunately Shawn got a job which took away time to rehearse with the band and so the project had to be abandoned for a couple of years.
